Hello Newbies!
The Question of the Day:
What is your favorite Christmas story?
Another interesting cultural insight, thanks a lot SP.
I just wonder what is the lemon leaf and grape leaf have to do with Christmas? just wondering cause we have different celebrations (two eid's) here in Qatar, even though we take Christmas as a holiday for some companies depending on the foreigners staff present.
Hola SP! Just want to send you Christmas good cheer!

Great topical lesson with a few surprises. The Magos in los Reyes Magos looks so similar to Magi and yet Liliana was surprised by Magi.Probably kidding around though right?
"y le van quitando" was translated in the pdf as "and they give it away" but in the podcast discussion you seemed to be saying they take it away which has the opposite meaning. So is it implying that they gave these vine and lemon leaves and then took them back again?
Also pdf translated lemon leaves whereas the podcast translated as lime leaves.Does Spanish make no distinction?
bababardwan
On your last question, both lemons and limes are called limones. You can clarify:
limón amarillo – lemon
limón verde – lime
stevestrv,
ah,ok ,thanks for clarifying that.I know the colours so that makes sense.Feliz navidad :)
bababardwan
You are welcome.

A mi me gusta "Polar Express".
