Lesson Introduction
Ah, the memories! The title of today's show says it all. We decided to save the best for last - join Marco and Liliana as they discuss their time hosting new lessons at SpanishPod. We'll also be sharing some of our favorite funny moments with you in the form of bloopers. Enjoy!

Lili and Marco, great job on this last episode. Kind of bittersweet but you know that I enjoyed it and will listen to it again tomorrow ;)
I've said it before but I'll repeat it here in this final Del Taco Al Tango. I still listen to spanishpod everyday at work for almost 8 hrs.
Today I was listening to older stuff with Esti...Arzak, El Cuento de la Lechera, the Spain lessons (the bulls, the tomatoes, etc) and Avatar with Marco and Leo. Miami Spanglish with Marco and Claudia. Colombia with Leo and Soraya. Both Argentina episodes with Esti, Pepa, and Margarit. The Mexicanismos with Mini-Lili, Leo and Marco, and of course with all of them Liliana :-)
There really is SO MUCH content here that is so good.
I've got some other stuff on my ipod, some good stories from leerescuchando.net. But the thing is with the type of work that I do, I have the luxury of being able to listen almost 8 hrs 5 days a week at work and for a long time everyone at spanishpod has made my work days more enjoyable. Lili, J.P., Leo, Esti, Marco and Yenni: You guys have done great work here, I'd say the best in class as it's been so personal and so much fun.
At work when they see me smiling or laughing maybe it's because I just heard Lili tell Esti...No me hagas esa cara Esti! Or when Leo tells Lili how now he knows why she liked "The Blind Side" so much and Lili says..."porqueeee" and as he answers Marco starts cracking up too, that kind of stuff has been throughout, so good.
Guess I'm gonna have to find some good audiobooks and move on to something new, a huge thank you to all of you for providing so much good content and being here in the forum to help whenever we needed it, gonna miss you guys a lot!
Rand.

Thanks for your post. I think it has finally settled in the idea of leaving SPOD. I´ts my baby! I am getting sadder by the day. It has been great and the users have been amazing I have received some great emails from many users saying how much Spod has helped them and this makes me feel like I did help the best way I knew how.
I will be around the site for some time to come. We are working on some guided courses. So we hope Spod will continue without new production.
Thanks for all your comments during this past 2 years!
Un abrazo fuerte!
:(
this is soooooooooooooooooooooooo sad
im going to miss you all, buena surte with your new projects
Muchas gracias!! Thanks for your post! Saludos
!Gracias, spanishpod team! JP, Leo, Esti, Yenni, y Lili and Marco... Voy a echar de menos de ustedes.
?A proposito, qual es el nombre de restaurante de Leo?
!Hata luego!
I kind of got into listening SpanishPod over 2 years ago, and I just fell in love with every single one of you guys. You’re awesome :) That’s all because of you, that my friends hate me now, cos I speak some kind of insane cocktail of part russian part spanish.
Thank you for all those awesome lessons. I wish you well in all that you will do, cos you’ll probably do it so much awesomer. Oh, yeah and I don’t know how about emails, but I would gladly follow you guys on Twitter, if you were there.
¡Hasta luego!
Hey!!
Thanks for this nice message! Glad to hear you enjoyed listening to us! We had fun, we learned a lot and we consider some of our users our friends.
I am on twitter msmata but I rarely twit :(
I can believe you rarely twit, but do you ever tweet? ;)
Thank you Spanishpod for all the wonderful podcasts. I have been listening to the bloopers since yesterday and it made my day. "En tu jardín...!" hahaha! Thank you so much for all that you had done!
not fair!!!!!! :*-(
What!? Del taco a tango ends at TT0126? Dear lord, that's a lot of shows..... Congratulations on a great run!
Yay! Thanks Jpito!
JP, Lili et al,
We got a lot of the shows some years back before the subscriptions started and have been enjoying ever since. Now we'll just think of you all like we think of the 3 Stooges (sorry...) --- You produced great stuff that a person can enjoy (and crack up about) over and over again. Both my husband and I have learned SO much from SP and we thank you for all the heartfelt effort you all have put in over the years. Last year when i was in Costa Rica i'd come in to the (Spanish speaking) office and say something new, and people would look at me like, WOW! where'd you get that, and i'd say "SpanishPod" everytime. Eventually they would just roll their eyes and say, "spanishpod, right?" Gracias!!

Gracias por el “shoutout” Voy a extrañar los mucho. Ustedes son los mejores. No solo porque producen el mejor podcast en el internet sino por sus personalidades tan amables y es claro que quieren ayudarnos aprender. Buena suerte. Siendo come estoy perdiendo mis amigos.
And those of you who work behind the mic like David Xu and other who’s name we never hear. You guys have done a great job of producing the show and making my friends from spanishpod sound even better. Thank you.
Sorry I meant whose not who’s

What were your favored episodes of SP. I think my favors were Amor sin Destino and the one in which Leo and Esti kidnap a woman and Leo was trying to give his demands to a kid who thought that Leo was Darth Vador. La Clave was the most interesting show on grammar that I have ever seen. I still cook with recipes that I learned from Cooking with Tabasco.
I was awful when JP and Esti left but I have to say that Marco and Yenni were great additions to the team. Bottom line all six of them are outstanding.
I loved Cooking with Tabasco.
Just one question: What's the benefit of subscribing to SpanishPod now? It would be a lot easier to just download everything, because not it's not a service with new stuff anymore.
gracias spanishpod! :)
It sounds like Praxis should keep the door open, and retool the front end for the Chinese.
Per this article on Chinese investment in Latin America. BBC Mundo
Thanks again guys.
Muchas gracias de nuevo...

Hi Liliana,
I'm currently a free trial member.
I'm learning Chinese (Mandarin) and Spanish and my sister is learning English so we do plan to upgrade to the Praxis pass at the end of our free trial.
I just read this post and listened to this podcast.
I liked you because you're a native Mexican Spanish speaker.
After all, Mexico has the largest population in the Spanish-speaking world so it makes sense for me to get used to your voice/accent/pronunciation especially since I live in California and I've gotta say, it's really sad to see you go (?).
Will there be another show host from Mexico on SpanishPod.com? :/
Thank you so much for all your efforts! I've been visiting SpanishPod for quite some time, even dating back to when SpanishSense was around. With all these lessons, and as wonderful as they are to listen to, it is much easier to learn more Spanish!

oh man, only just found this now. Such a shame. I was hoping to come back to SPod and make a comeback. Fantastic site. Thanks to the whole SPod team. Anyhow, I still look forward to working my way through the awesome archive.
LOVE you guys tons! I first listened to Chinesepod when I was going to Asia for work three years ago. I learned enough to have very baisic conversations.
THEN!!!!! I moved to Mexico last year and not only fell in love with Spanishpod, but you guys ROCK!!! Loved hearing all the Taco del Tango conversations and loved how I understood more and more. The economy an issue? Who knows, but I will miss you guys and how much FUN you always had in the studio. I had fun with you guys.
Best to you all, and I KNOW you will be AWESOME wherever you land after Spanishpod!
Abrazos,
Maureen
No more Spanish Pod?
Gues I'll let my Praxis Pass lapse. Sad.
Thank you all for your hard work and your great lessons. This is a thoroughly enjoyable podcast and your lively sense of humor and witty banter is what differentiates your lessons from others! Who wants to listen to a dry old teacher?? Not me!
Gracias!!!
