En el mundo hispano, el eructar se consdera bastante grosero. Aparte del eructar, ¿qué consideras muy grosero?

Después de escuchar varias veces la lección que trata con "eructar", aún no puedo entender bien el dicho que se habla (por las dos personas del ensayo). Favor de escribir la frase que termina con "...pero descansa el animal." --gracias--

Si "grosero" significa "rude", qué quiere decir la frase "hablar groserías"? Creo que tiene que ver con algo más que ese "grosero" del cual hablas, en la lección. Pero, no lo sé.

Las tostadas están hechas a base de tortillas duras, frijoles, carne molida, lechuga, tomate, queso y qrema, y por encima salsa chipotle. Ummm ¡qué ricas!

No creo que nos queramos oir sobre lo que encuentre mas grosero que el eructo. I don't think we want to hear about what I find more disgusting than a burp.... Hay un dicho en español como: " seria abriendo un lata de gusanos?" it would be opening a can of worms" Did I get the use of the subjunctive right with "creo que and lo que"?

Gracias, estibalitz, por tu respuesta. Me parece que seas una del personal de este "sitio web". Por tanto, te agradezco la réplica, referente al plato en cuestión. Y, aquí sale otra pregunta: Si tienen "shell" los tacos y las tostadas...y otros....bueno, cuál es su nombre asociado (esto es, la traducción de "shell"), en este contexto? Por ejemplo, acá de costumbre hablan de "tortilla shells".

Cantinflas "Taco Shells" es una creación de Estados Unidos porque en México no existe,así que no hay una traducción, nosotros usamos tortillas 100% de maíz y estas vienen duras, es decir se tuestan (verbo tostar) por eso se les llaman tostadas. Además son planas de manera redonda no en forma de los taco shell.

Kikuyu, estoy de acuerdo. No creo que la gente quiere saber lo que yo pienso que es más grocero que eructar tampoco, jeje .... y a propósito de abrir una lata de gusanos. No tengo ni idea si tiene este dicho en español. Me imagino que no, pero yo lo diría así: Sería como abir una lata de gusanos. Ahora esperamos consejo de los expertos.

Ya me doy cuenta que no sea possible usar el verbo "ser" en la conditicional + participio presente. I just realized that there probably is no such thing as using "ser" in the conditional + the present participle. entonces seria abriendo no exista pero se puede decir: abriría. (in reference to: it would be opening a can of worms)

Tengo un dicho en español: A) Que tranza! B) Chile in tu panza! Creo que es mas o menos como: A: "What's up?" B: "The sky!" Pero, no se que significa tranza o panza or como se deletrean. Vivo en Texas cerca de Mexico asi que esto probablamente es un dicho mexicano.

Will1010 Tranza viene de la palabra "transacción", es una manera coloquial de decir, "que pasa". "panza" es una manera de decir "estómago" en el segundo dicho es "chile en tu panza" algo como "hot chillie in your tummy" pero no entiendo el significado. En México si decimos "que tranza" para decir "what up" pero también lo usamos para decir que alguien te esta haciendo trampa, meaning "he is a cheater."

May I venture a guess? He has "fire in his belly" ie: one who has the motivation to succeed. will1010 would that fit your context?
