Hi everyone!  I just want you all to know that the Skype voicemail we're so excited about is not entirely reliable; everyone in the office has tried to leave a message, but only messages from ChinesePod's Vera have been delivered!  We should hear back from the Skype people any day now....

Sorry about that!

That's a really cool idea! Now I wish I had Skype on my computer (actually, I don't even have a mic :-/ ). Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing some of the voices behind those nicknames! :)

Hello everyone!  Our Skype voicemail seems to be working now.  Hope to hear from you all soon, even if it's just to say hello!

Hi.  I have a question on the differences between este, ese, and aquel.  I understand your definition, but I would like to ask if there is some flexibility.  If you and I were standing next to each other, I might point to a watch which is a few feet away from both of us and say “de quien es ese reloj” .  I would not use aquel unless it was farther away.  Am I wrong?

I would wonder if the difference came from Mexican tourists who constantly thought they were too cool.
