"when i break up with them i kill them" ¡ay, la viuda negra!
make sure no one finds the bodies if you are going to make public statements like this. ;-)

"they say all roads lead to rome and its true because each night mine leads me to the hole that names you."

Is the hatred so terrible that you dare not even show me your distain?

gracias mztish, muy amable. although that was the edited version....

the line they skipped over was "lo malo son las noches que mojan mi mano"

The worst thing are the nights that wet my hand. Does he only have one arm? playing the guitar would be a challenge? at bedtime does he put his hand out the window to see if its raining? or maybe when he falls asleep does his roommate put his hand in a bowl of warm water.

I must be honest thats not where my mind went first

but this is a family show so perhaps its best not to think about it too much.

oh, and roma is also short for romani so this could well be the equivalent of, "i recall a gypsy woman"

i think el hueco que te nombra is probably more figurative in that it is the hole in his life called roma. falling asleep with your name on my lips doesnt need to be literal either and "tus ojos" her eyes are his eyes when he closes his eyes to sleep he closes her eyes because she lives within him
