Qué estraño . .

(I'm really sorry, it's very inconvenient to type accented letters on my computer!)

On a mac, go to system preferences, language and text.

Under language check the languages you want to have supported. under input sources, check the keyboard layouts you want to use. US international works pretty good for most things. It is supported by both PC and Mac so switching is easy.

The accents are hit before the vowels or n, and the vowels 0r ñ come up accented.

Windows, go to the control panel, check clock language region keyboards and languages, change keyboards, add . . .

Spanish, US international , (the latin american layout, in Windows, it works for all keys except the @ key which makes email hard)

Ubuntu linux, go to system administration , language and text, install remove languages, and chose the languages you (or anyone who uses your computer) want supported by the system. Then under system, preferences, keyboard, layouts, chose country, USA and then International keyboard.

I know a lot of you already know the information I’m about to give but it took me a while to figure out and it may help some of the users.

Ojala can be used with the present subjunctive to mean I “hope” or “hopefully”when referring to something that might happen.

Ojala que ganemos – hopefully we will win / I hope we win.

It is used with the imperfect subjective to mean “I wish” when referring to something which is contrary to fact.
Ojala que yo fuera rico – I wish that I was rich.

I should add that you can use Ojala with the imperfect subjunctive to mean "I wish" when taking about something which is contrary to fact in the past

- I wish that I had gone to the party.

"Somehow it seems to fill my head with ideas--only I don't exactly know what they are! However, somebody killed something: that's clear, at any rate--"

--Through The Looking Glass, Lewis Carroll
