Mmmm seafood!

La pregunta del día es:

¿Cuál es tu marisco favorito?

Question of the day: What is your favorite seafood?

I love salmon in a mustard sauce and shrimp cocktail. I also like whole shrimps with mayo, lime and tabasco.

In Seattle there's a restaurant called "Ho ho Seafood" which serves whole dungeness crabs... kentucky fried! (well, salt and pepper).

Of course, crabs are waterproof, so the hot oil doesn't get past the shell.   So the crab meat gets steamed.  And on the outside, it's gbd; golden brown and delicious.

I like seafood and this lesson is tempting me. Last night we had shrimps and big scallops for supper. They were so delicious.

How do you say big or large scallops? Also how would you say "Hum, hum good".

anabarfa, I believe that it's just a regional difference; "gambas" in Spain and "camarones" in Latin America.

I know in English some speakers maintain a difference between "prawns" and "shrimp;" for me, it's just a size difference, but other English speakers may have a different idea.

Muchas gracias lilianamata.

The seafood urge lingers on. My husband says he will buy lobsters and mussels this weekend.

There seems to be a technical problem here that when you try to download Elementary lesson 395 of "Seafood", it saves as "Hiccup".
