Lo que me parece chistoso es que aprendí por la primera vez la palabra "el reembolso".  Así que la respuesta es no, por lo menos en latinoamérica, no he pedido reembolso.  No es tan común como en norteamerica!

En cuanto al comentario de JP sobre el uso de la palabra "tienda", al menos aquí en Ecuador, la tienda es donde se vende cosas para picar, como corner store, mientras un almacén tiene un surtido de un tipo de cosas, tales como de DVDs, o de zapatos, o de ropa.

En el año pasado pedí reemplazo cuando la batería nueva para mi coche terminó de funcionar.  En la tienda se reemplazó sin preguntas, y me gustaba mucho.

What does the word "pos" mean ? Haven't been able to find it in my dictionary, but have seen it used occasionally elsewhere.

its the indiscriminate subjective conjugation of ser (sorry, its a typo) i meant "por" you may have seen pos around as a contraction? alternative to pues or to indicate position or "in persuit of" / "instead of" (en pos de) I dont think its very mainstream.

I had seen "pos" last year in a couple of magazine articles I had been reading, but had not seen it since. It seems to be quite rarely used.

You're service is amazing and I'm already addicted; I just wanted to send along a small correction, though. In terms of direct translation, 'garantia" is a 'warranty' in English, not a 'warrantee'. 

A 'warrantee' is the person who is actually issued the guarantee.
