¿Hay una diferencia entre folleto y volante? Me pregunto si tiene que ver con la cantidad de páginas, o la región.

Hola Lucie

Si la diferencia es que el folleto tiene varias paginas. El volante es una sola pagina. El volante es como un "flyer". Esa es la diferencia. ¿Queda claro? :)

Sí, queda claro. ¡Gracias, Liliana!

What about making copies of things? I see this lesson is showing how to use words to ask how much it would cost to "print" something.. but let's say I need a copy of my passport or copy of something in larger quanities.. like say I already had a brochure but I wanted to copy it 100 times.

Can I say:

?Cuanto cuesta .. blah blah blah?

and what would that "blah blah blah" be? :)

Gracias! :)

Here are some examples:

Necesito sacar una copia de mi pasaporte. ( I need to make a copy of my passport)

Quiero sacar copia de mi licencia. (I want to make a copy of my licence)

¿Cuánto cuesta sacar una copia de mi pasaporte? (How much is it to make a copy of my passport?)

To make copies in Spanish you use the verb SACAR COPIAS. Which means to make copies of something.

with the 3rd example you have placed the "una" (meaning 1) in between sacar and copia.. rather than before it.. So I am assuming then that "sacar" basically means "to make"..?

That is correct.

Sacar can also mean "to take out." Remember that verbs, in the infinitive form, are easy to spot in Spanish with their -ar, -er, or -ir endings!
