Aun así, me siento que me estoy metiendo en honduras aquí.  Creo que la poesía igual como el humor son cosas bastante inaccessibles para los principiantes. Even so, I feel like I'm in over my head here.  I think poetry, like humor, is something pretty inaccessible to beginners.

I think Martinillo nailed it on the last. You need to talk to some Mexican SCA people, ask about starting fires with a firebox flint and steel.

a high carbon steel striker is struck on a flint rock, the harder rock peels off a tiny bit of steel so quickly that it heats glows red, burns and may explode in a carnation of sparks like a sparklers little flares.  (or just pick up a cig. lighter that still has a flint-steel striker and check out the spark)
