I reckon you guys should make sure that everyone knows the big differences between "South american" spanish and "Castillan" spanish.
Not only the words and phrases, but the "accents".
Obviously the main objective is to "communicate" but, just as in english, in spanish an "accent" can also play an important part in a conversation.
It's just something to be aware of.
Also:
"La corro del departamento..."
"dundo..."
would make no sense here in madrid, maybe you should be using more "generic" spanish terms?

Estaba un poco confundido con departamento o apartamento (corro del departamento para mi es aparece a correo o oficina de correos en mi mente).
Otra cosa es correr en mi mente es to run. Pienso que jaimemayo quiere usar boto (boot out) y quiero usar patea (kick out) in lieu of corro (run out).
Aquí en Costa Rica, nadie usa la teléfono para llamadas internacionales. Ellos usan cafés de internet, tarjetas prepagado (caro), Skype, Google talk, Messenger, etc. ¿Creo que esta lección es en el pasado, no? Toma casí un año para un línea de teléfono depende su lugar (land line) y extranjeros no se permiten una línea de teléfono o celular (Usted necesita un Tico comprar una línea para tí).
Espero que Estí es una buena actriz (stretch from her normal warm & fuzzy self) y no fue muy fácil con ella ser muy rabiosa?
Pues . . . del pasado o de hoy en día, me gustan los diálogos como éste, porque necesito oír conversación más que oír las narrativas.
Y hablando de lo que me ayuda . . . por favor, cuando tengan la oportunidad en las lecciones, mencionen el antónimo de un verbo importante. Me sirve mucho para mejorar el vocabulario.

Quiero saber donde se usa apartamento. Aqui en Ecuador se usa departamento, y tambien en argentina. Creo que en Mexico tambien. Me pregunto donde se usa apartamento como usamos en ingles...
Acá en los estados...los mexicanos dicen apartamento.
En España, se dice piso.
I have a question about the translation. At one point, Olivia says, "Octavio tiene a su novia visitando Londres." This is translated as "Octavio has a girlfriend visiting from London." Shouldn't it be "Octavio has a girlfriend visiting London"? If she were visiting FROM London, she'd be in the same town as the speakers, and no long-distance calls would be involved. Also, wouldn't the Spanish be something like "visitando de Londres" or "visitando desde Londres"?
