I go frequently and often take gently used toys and clothes for friends but after being in customs for 4 hours, they confiscated 2 of my bags. The luggage was worth more than the things. I tried to get an immigration agent (like a lawyer of sorts) but he told me with his fee and the costs, it would be $500. It was just so frustrating because it was senseless, but the people in aduana, mostly young people, seemed to be afraid to make a decision and kept passing it off.
