What a great show! Portuguese sounds hard to learn, but it does look very similar to Spanish. I can totally see how the Portuguese can understand Spanish but it's harder the other way around. I had to listen to Luis several times. Mentirosooooo, jajaja!!!
I thought to study Portuguese after Spanish because then you write it looks like Spanish with a lot of mistakes. But when I was in Brazil EVERYONE understood me in Spanish and I understood NOTHING form their answers. So I spent 2 weeks trying to study Portuguese but finally I decide to study French.
LOL Russian has nothing to do with Portuguese and sounds completely different! P.S. "Revista" will be "zhurnal" in Russian.

En inglés ¨revista¨ se dice ¨magazine¨, pero si decimos ¨magazin¨ en ruso estaríamos diciendo ¨shop¨ (en inglés).
Y ni hablar del alfabeto ruso y del español:
Nuestra ¨p¨ suena como [ r ] en ruso
¨y¨ suena como [ u ] en ruso.

Hola! Pues gramaticalmente las lenguas romanas y el ruso tienen mucho en común. Es que en ruso hay todo lo que hay en español (gramática: conjugaciones de los verbos, concordancia de los sustantivos y adjetivos y ect). Lo que es diferente es el sistema de los tiempos (el nuestro es mucho más fácil como tenemos solo 3 tiempos: presente, pasado y futuro), no hay artículos y ademas de la concordancia de los sustantivos y adjetivos en genero y números hay que concordarlos también en declinación (como por ejemplo en el latín).
El alfabeto ruso es bastante fácil hasta los extranjeros. Solo tenemos pocos letras que son tan diferente como la P. Normalmente el extranjero ordinario necesita por lo máximo dos semanas para aprender el alfabeto y utilizarlo sin ningún problema. Es que no es tan diferente que se parece. Viene directamente del griego antiguo de donde también viene el latín que era la base del español.
La palabra "magazin" (магазин en ruso) es la adopción del francés (magasin). Aunque puedes decir shop también y la mayoría te va a entender como que todo el mundo dice shoping y hacer shoping aquí.
Que bueno ver que hay otros portugueses que escuchan Spanishpod, ya no me voy a sentir tan solo ;)(además yo también me llamo Luís, vaya coincidencia!)
