¿Cómo llaman a los gatos en sus países?
En Cuba les llamamos misu misu.
Es verdad que en dibujos animados gente por aqui dicen "kitty kitty" pero en realidad hacemos chillidos como un raton por haciendo besos pequeños.

I think about the meaning of "dudas" every time I hear Marco sign off a podcast with "if you have any questions or doubts." I use "si tienes preguntas o dudas" in the way Liliana mentioned, as kind of a standard customer service line when I'm writing a note to someone at work, where in English the standard phrase is "if you have any questions or concerns." So in that context I think of it as an equivalent to "concerns." But I think it's cute when Marco says doubts because it's sort of Spanish-y English.

¡Hola equipo! Tengo unas preguntas:
(1) Sabemos que hay muchas palabras para decir algo o alguien es atractivo en español. Pero me gustaría saber mas palabras o frases para decir algo es feo. En inglés tenemos varios, y me imagino español es iqual. Por ejemplo, en inglés decimos "ugly", "fugly", "he/she got hit by the ugly stick", etc.
(2) La palabra "traganickel" - una panameña me dijo que esta palabra significa "jukebox", pero segun el internet, significa "slot machine". ¿Tal vez signifique cualquier maquina que usa monedas? ¿O tal vez solo signifique "jukebox" en Panama?
(3) Por último, mis amigos me dijieron que puedo usar (en algunos caso al menos) "era" o "fui". Por ejemplo:
Fui doctor o era doctor.
Estoy bien confundido.

Hay un diferencia entre "cuanto cuesta" y "cuanto vale"?
Estaba en una libreria en México y pregunté la señora "¿Cuanto cuesta este libro?", pero ella dijo "¿Cuanto vale?". ¿Son igual, y solo es la preferencia de una persona o región?
