Química y física! Eran espantosas, las odiaba, siempre me peleaba con el maestro y le cuestionaba porque debía de aprender a que velocidad viajaba un carro A y en cuanto tiempo el carro B lo iba a alcanzar.
Chemistry and physics, I hated them, I would always fight with the professor and would question him why would I had to learn at what speed does the A car travel, so the B car can reach it.
No me gustaba la física para nada. Tenía un profesor que tiraba objectos en la clase... Fue una experiencia traumática.
No me gustaba la historia puesto que creo que la profesora no le gustaba tampoco. La clase fue tan aburrida.
Ahora, me encanta la historia.

The subject that I had the most trouble with was geometry. It was the only subject I didn't pass in my high school. And the teacher would hit students!

I did not like my typing class. The nun who taught us would pass in the aisles and rap a ruler on our desks to measure the speed at which we were supposed to type. This made me nervous and obviously I would strike the wrong key.

Suz333- While 'cual' is normally translated as 'which', it is often used as a 'what'. At the bar where I work, we run a daily special and the cooks will regularly ask "Cual es la especial?", but it's understood to mean "What is the special?"

He passed geometry but cant tell the difference between a cube and a hexagon???? for the love of god theres a whole extra dimension, are they confusing edges with faces?
La asignatura que me encontraba el mas dificil era francés porque no tenia ni un poquito de interés por aprenderlo. cada leccion recitábamos tablas de verbos Y yo nunca comprendia por qué.
the subject i found most dificult was french because i didnt have even the slightest interest in learning it. Each lesson we would recite tables of verbs and i never understood why.
The spanish speaking world sounds like the sane one in this discussion. These are some anglicismos that you can really do without. Its disapointing to think that anyone wants to ape a culture where inteligence and technical expertise mark you out for unjustifiable abuse, victimisation and social exclusion. studious IS admirable. name calling is not.

It's true a good class depends on a good teacher. I had a math class that I used to love, because our teacher was funny and amazing! Can't believe that I use to love math! hahaha

When I read the discussion, I had to laugh. OMG! English was my worst subject! Yes, it shows, now. I am actually having to learn things about English, I never learned, simply to understand Spanish. The scary thing is, I actually like it now. Ughhhhhhh, I have gone (I actually just typed “went”) from the “goof-off” to the “nerd.” Getting older sucks!
