Hey guys have you tried any of the fruit we have ?mentioned in the lesson?

Can someone help me out here? How come when you say, "Si tienen", you don't have to say "Si las tienen" or use an article?
When I directly translate it, it sounds like "Yes they have" which sounds weird to gringo ears, but I am figuring that there it must be implied and is natural in Spanish...
Can someone explain this further?

Look at the preceding sentence: Dame la dirección; quiero ir a ver si tienen litchis.
The word 'litchis' (which, by the way, is masculine) is the unstated antecedent in the sentence you ask about: Sí tienen.
I would translate it as "Yes they do." Just as in English, in Spanish, when the object of the verb (here, the masculine noun, 'litchis') has just been clearly stated in the sentence before , it isn't necessary to repeat it. So you CAN say:
Sí, tienen: Yes, they do.
But you can also say:
Sí, los tienen: Yes, they have them.
or even:
Sí, tienen litchis: Yes, they have litchis
*By the way, 'los' or 'las' in this context isn't an article; it's an object pronoun. That is, it receives the action of the verb.

He probado y me gustan mucho los litchis y la
guayaba. En mis país es muy difícil encontrar frutas tan exóticas pues les como durante mis viajes. También me gusta la carambola.
Creo que tenemos solo una fruta que poco conocida afuera del país. Es caqui. Es muy buena y viene del sur de Rusia y países de Caucáseo. Se puede encontarlo en el mercado durante nuestro enero y juntos con mandarinas aquí es "la fruta oficial" del Año Nuevo y la Navidad. El género el mas famoso es koraléyok. Preguntalo si va a estar en mercado ruso en invierno. Vale la penar probarlo.
Se parece mucho al tomate de arbol que tenemos en Ecuador!

In this dialog you are talking about the verb "venir" and then in the same topic, when you are going to explain how to conjugate it you start talking about the verb "ir"...:-)

No mentionastais a mi fruta favorita, la chirimoya, que traté en el Ecuador hace tres años y no han podido comprar en Inglaterra.
Además traté a tomaté de arbol, naranjilla, y guanabana. Me falta Ecuador. También, quiero conocer a muchas otras paises del mundo.

Me alegra tanto que hayas estado en mi país y te haya gustado todas nuestras frutas!
Es complicado obtener estas frutas fuera del Ecuador, la naranjilla es casi imposible! Voy a establecer una empresa de concentrado de frutas del Ecuador y exportamos a Inglaterra!
Trabajé por un huerto de frutas hace diez anos, cuando era adolescente. ¡Viajaba por Australia y me faltó de dinero! Este huerto estaba al lado del mar, y me recuerdo muchas raras frutas tropicales. Entre otras cosas, breadfruit, jackfruit (que son enormes) y durian (que no huelen bien). ¡De hecho, creo que es contra la ley de comer durian en los espacios públicos en vários países asiáticos!

Así es. ) Es porque el durian huele mal, muy mal... )) Pero también tiene el sabor muy rico. Se puede encontrar en todos los países de Asia Sureste.
Huy, sí. No me gusta ni siquiera entrar al supermercado en el verano porque el durian hace que la tienda entera apesta horrible....
He probado pitahaya por primera (y única) vez en China. No conozco las otras frutas pero me gustaría probarlas cuando tenga la oportunidad :)
