¿Cuál es su ensalada favorita?
A mí encanta la ensalada de aguacate y tomate con orégano.
Una de mis ensaladas favoritas es asi:
1 tomate
1 pepino
1 aguacate
Cilantro
Vinagre de arroz
Sal Kosher
Pimienta negra

Cortar en dados los primeros 3 (quitando las semillas) y adornar con cilantro, sal, pimienta y vinagre. ¡Delicioso!

One of my favorite salads is thus:
1 tomato
1 cucumber
1 avocado
Cilantro
Rice vinegar
Kosher salt
Black pepper

Dice the first 3 (remove seeds) and toss with cilantro, rice vinegar, salt and pepper. Delicious!
(although it's very good without the vinegar as well- I will usually eat the first half without, and then add it to the rest!)

¡Que deliciosa esa ensalada! Me encanta el cilantro.
Mi ensalada favorita es la ensalada israelí. Lleva tomate, pepino, cebolla, perejil, jugo de limón, sal, pimienta, y aceite de oliva. También se puede agregar tahini, ajo, y/o hojas de menta.
A mí me gusta preparar una ensalada con lechuga orejona, cebolla morada, manzana picada, almendras y quizás poquito pechuga de pollo deshebrado. Hago mi propio aderezo con aceite de oliva, vinagre balsámico, mostaza y tantito jarabe de maple.
Me gusta ensaladas, pero no tanto.
Hablando de ensaladas, ¿alguien han oído de jitomates?
La neta es son tomates, pera usan esa palabra en algunas partes de México.

Hola rodneyp, yo sí he oído la palabra 'jitomate'. De hecho, me la enseñaron en Puebla, México. Si dices 'tomate', te van a entender, pero la gente dice 'jitomate'.

¡Ojo! Lo que se llama "ensalada rusa" en español no tiene nada que ver con las ensaladas que hacemos y comemos en Rusia ;-)
Creo que mi ensalada favorita no tiene nombre pero es muy famosa en mi país. Además, es muy fácil a hacer. Hay que tomar tomates y pepinos frescos, pepinos salados y aceite de oliva. Cortar las verduras en cantidades iguales y añadir aceite al gusto. ¡Y ya esta!
