It's great to have Esti back.  I am looking forward to Lili’s return so that we can have the entire SpanishPod Fab 4 together.

este es la primera vez he estado aquí, qué hacemos aquí. Estoy intentando a mejorar mis habilidades de hablar.

I think that if you want to use parecer to compare two things or people,you have to use the reflexive form.

Un día sin Spanishpod se parece a un día de pan y agua

I am not sure of my sentance especial the a, in red, which might only be used when the "personal a" is needed

how about

Un día sin Spaishpod es como un día de pan y agua

Muy bien Stevestrv! Tienes razón en lo que escribiste pero tuviste un pequeño error. Se dice: "Un dia sin SpanishPod se parece a un dia a pan y agua". Además es muy común utlizar "es como" en lugar de "se parece a". Just like in English "is like" = "es como".

Gracias Esti por los sinónimos de "estar a pan y agua."  Tambien que under340, me gusta las canciones que ayuda en aprender las listas, como la que ha dicho en este podcast  las preposiciones, etc.  Me parece que tiene muchisimas, tal vez ustedes pueden tener una recopilación de todas en una lección.

a, ante, bajo, cabe, con, contra, de, desde, en, entre hacia, hasta, para, por, según, sin, so, sobre, tras, durante, mediante.
