Pregunta del día:  ¿Qué tipo de carro tienes tú?  What kind of car do you drive?

En Seattle tenía un Toyota Corrola, pero aquí en China no tengo ningún carro.  Voy en taxi a todos lados.  Back in Seattle, I had a Corrola, but here in China I don't own a car.  I go everywhere in cabs.  

Tengo un Toyota Prius.  Es un vehículo híbrido y obtiene 43-46 millas por galón.  ¡Me gusta muchísimas!

Tengo un Prius tambien! Que pasa? solo personnes 'verdes' escribe aqui? Me le gusta tambien. Es pequeno, pero parace bistante grande con sitio para su cabessa, y para muchas cosas en la parte trasera. Creo que es confiable! Le recommendo!

(I also have a Prius! What's up? Only 'green' people write here? I like it as well. It is small, but seems large, with room for your head and lots of stuff in the back. I think that is reliable. I recommend one!)

Hola, fellow Prius owner.  I hope you won't take offense if I offer a few spelling corrections (though some are just putting in the accent marks): 

¿Qué pasa?  ¿solo personas 'verdes' escriben aquí? ...  Es pequeño, pero parece bastante grande con sitio para su cabeza.... Le recomiendo (or perhaps se lo recomiendo).

Pues, yo tengo un carro bastante "no verde", jajajaja.

Es un STI de Subaru.  Al menos el precio de gas por fin ha bajado.  Lo bueno es que tiene cuatro por cuatro todo el tiempo, y eso ayuda mucho acá en Idaho durante el invierno.

Tengo un Pontiac Vibe, esta azul.

Tengo un camión de Toyota.

Si la junta principal? (head gasket) es mala, el aceite se escaparía en el radiador?

If the head gasket is bad, the oil wil leak into the radiator? or maybe it's the other way around.

Yo también tengo Subaru con tracción en las cuatro ruedas todo el tiempo.  Me gusta porque el camino a mi casa es empinado y muchas veces está lleno de barro.

I also have a Subaru with all wheel drive.  I like it because my driveway is steep and often muddy.

No tengo carro tampoco... Es que aún no he aprendido - me falta dinero. Pero tengo una bici tambien. Nunca voy lejos, así que no necesito un carro, y creo que ir en bici es buen ejercicio:)

I don't have a car either, the reason being i haven't learnt yet - I need the money. But I have a bike aswell. I never go far, so I don't need a car, and I think that going by bike is good excersise.

Also when talking about luck I think the verb tener is used, as in Tengo mucha suerte.

Llevo una vieja Ford Escort a ir de mi casa a la estación de autobuses (6 kilometros). Desde allì tomo el autobus para ir para trabajar (30 kilometros). Durante el fin de semana mi marido e yo conducimos un Santa Fe. Nos gusta esto muchísimo aunque mi marido insista que mi Ford Escort sea la mejor cuando hay una tormenta de nieve como teníamos esta semana.
