<p>I think we do not feel offended. Latinas we tend to be feminist but not to the extreme, I think we like to "belong" to someone, we don't take it extreme, like if we were a personal belonging. So we are used to saying "mi mujer" o "mi novia".</p>]]></description>

<p><span class="istrong">Lastly, this dialog makes me think that there should be a lesson on dealing with the police in general.&nbsp; I have been stopped by the police in Mexico on two occassions, once on foot and once in a vehicle.&nbsp; I was searched and promptly (luckily) released with no problems (they didn't even steal my money!), but i</span><span class="istrong">t would be beneficial to know some Spanish specific to those situations and perhaps some basics of how the legal system in Mexico works.</span></p>

El primero es quedar en el mismo lugar como el guardia (masculine?) que he podidote "under arrest".&nbsp; T&uacute; no est&aacute;s libre a ir donde t&uacute; prefieres.T&uacute; est&aacute;s abajo las reglas de "arrest".
