Me asusta gramatica. jeje.
No me molestan mucho los insectos pero si veo un ciempiés en mi casa, detengo lo que estoy haciendo hasta que pueda atraparlo y removerlo. No me gustaría tener uno de ellos en la cama.

Tengo mucho miedo de las serpientes. No tenemos serpientes in nuestro país, así que cuando viaje a los otros países, cada vez hago excursionismo en el campo, me preocupo sobre las serpientes y las hago guardia. ¡Lo sé es ridículo!

Como a el pobrecito en el dialogo, yo también tengo miedo de las arañas. Afortunadamente, mi esposo no tiene miedo y él las mata.
Además, cuando vamos a acampar, tengo miedo de los osos y cualesquier animales están en la vecindad.
Like the poor guy in the dialog, I'm also afraid of spiders. Fortunately my husband is not afraid and he kills them.

In the dialog, does Leo say "¡Mata lo, mata la!" or am I hearing it incorrectly? If he does say that, what is the reason for that if araña is feminine?
La definición de "haber" esta incorecto en el vocabulario.
Me encanta las arañas, I am afraid that spiders are afraid of me, since i was a kid i chased them whenever I have a chance and enjoyed keeping them on my arm, they always try to escape but I go after them jejeje (and I hate people who kill the poor creatures, what can a harmless spider do to a 1.5 meter person ???(especially that we are not in america where you have the lovely black widow that would make me scream worst than Leo matala matala)).
