Jp, that was a nice ¿qué pasa? but I was really expecting one on the same scale as the guys that pull up next to you in their cars with their bass turned so high, that it feels like it is going to push me into the oncoming traffic.

hmmmm um now how Would I say that in spanish.

Good luck in your future endeavors JP and Esti.    You are both wonderful teachers and will be missed.

Hi JP,

It was surely not a coincidence that your leaving followed so closely the "restructuring" anouncement? I read the comments about the "lack of structure" at Praxis. My opinion is that there are lots of "stuctured" vehicles out there. There is no shortage of language sites on the web. To succeed it's necessary to offer something different and the success of SpanishPod shows that it has found a personality that separates it from the rest. A large part of that personality is a result of your efforts, JP.

We will all miss you and I wish you "amor, salud y dinero y el tiempo para disfrutarlos" in your future  endeavours.

cobre, in the Studio, Lili and Esti both* grabbed their headphones when I yelled my last ¡¿qué pasa?!

What happens is that Davidico "normalizes" the audio in post production, so the audio peaks are leveled and the audio valleys are raised.  If it weren't for this normalization process, you might never have heard Carmentheintern... ever.

*Leo was surpised too, but he reacts slower to loud noises ;)

cms285, thanks so much for the kind words :)

I must insist that it's the whole team that gives SpanishPod its personality, and I'm lucky to have worked with such a fun bunch of folks.

The relationship between my leaving and the new publication schedule is not a causal one.

And one last thing, stop calling me Shirley!

(sorry, kids, Airplane! joke.  Couldn't resist)

JP and Esti -

I have learned so very much from both of you.  I take private Spanish lessons once a week and my instructor noticed an immediate improvement once I began working with SpanishPod.   I listen to all the lessons over and over and over.  Thank you both for sharing your knowledge with us learners.  I am extremely grateful and wish you both great success and happiness.

Gracias,

Catherine, Chicago
