es lo mismo en mi ciudad. A veces llega la ambulancia de forma rapido y otros veces se tarda horas.

It's the same in my city. Sometimes the ambulance arrives quickly and other times it takes hours.

Can somebody tell me how 'sometimes' translates to 'a veces'?

Could someone tell me why the word 'llevo" is used in the dialogue, as in "No, pero llevo un ano y medio trabajando en su empresa?

The verb is 'llevar' right? To carry/take/wear.

Could i say - No, pero tengo trabajando en su empresa por un ano y medio.
