I agree with what has already been said above. I've been watching my favorite soap opera for almost 30 years now, and Spanishpod is a similar type of experience. You guys are leaving a huge gap here. If I wanted a more impersonal experience I can use any one of the instructional computer programs out there. Having fresh material makes a huge difference. And the folks at Spanishpod have been incredible at creating a very personal and friendly experience. Obviously there are problems at Praxis that we, the consumers are not aware of. My subscription ends in April and I really need to consider if I want to renew. I'm glad I have this information now before I went ahead and renewed.

Thank you again Spanishpod team for the great work that you did, but I am not liking this change one bit.

We did go to Cafe de la Parroquia, the Lechero was amazing and yes, we knew to tap our glasses for the steamed milk :) !!!! The masero there was so nice, when we ordered tamales, he unwrapped them for us before he served them. I think he was concerned we wouldn't know not to eat the banana leaf. And the picadas and the postres... YUM!!!

SpanishPod really made such a difference in teaching me everyday vocabulary, being able to listen to a conversation and work my way through it with some confidence. Listening to the dialogues really make a difference in being able to understand speech and phrases, instead of just memorizing words. I have quickly learned that understanding a language is not just about learning the vocabulary, but knowing how the words are used together and the meanings they create in their combinations.

Dear SpanishPod Team,

I just wanted to thank you for all of the wonderful lessons which I have been studying for the past couple years. What a difference they have made!!! My husband and I decided to spend a week at the Spanish Language Immersion School in Veracruz, Mexico (with cooking classes too!) last week. Having the SpanishPod foundation really helped us to communicate and make our way through the city and even out to Xalapa for a day trip.

One of our best experiences was sitting at a café in the Zócolo in Veracruz. We invited an older woman, who we had seen the night before dancing with energy of a teenager, to sit with us and have a limonada. We shared stories speaking completely in Spanish. What was incredible to us was that we were able to communicate. Wow!

¡Mexico, me encanta!
