]]> <![CDATA[Re: My Mexico Experience]]> We did go to Cafe de la Parroquia, the Lechero was amazing and yes, we knew to tap our glasses for the steamed milk :) !!!!  The masero there was so nice, when we ordered tamales, he unwrapped them for us before he served them.  I think he was concerned we wouldn't know not to eat the banana leaf.  And the picadas and the postres...  YUM!!!

SpanishPod really made such a difference in teaching me everyday vocabulary, being able to listen to a conversation and work my way through it with some confidence.  Listening to the dialogues really make a difference in being able to understand speech and phrases, instead of just memorizing words.  I have quickly learned that understanding a language is not just about learning the vocabulary, but knowing how the words are used together and the meanings they create in their combinations.
