In France, we almost have the same traditions as Latinos but it's mixed with american and east-european traditions.
We have Santa Claus (aka Père Noël) dressed in red, Saint Nicolas dressed in green  and the three kings (aka Rois mages).

        <description><![CDATA[<font size="2">On the first page of the SpanishSense website I see some nice pictures but there&#39;s 2 pictures of Pre-Columbian Civilizations. <br />On the left that&#39;s an Aztec (or Maya) pyramid. <br />Or the right that&#39;s the Inca representation of the god Sun. <br />The Aztec, Maya and Inca are Pre-Columbian civilizations and don&#39;t have any links with spanish civilization except for the extinction part. <br />So why SpanishSense uses the image of this civilizations to promote the Spanish language ? The descendants of the Aztec, Maya and Inca civilizations don&#39;t even speak spanish as a first language. <br />With the high level of sensitivity about this subject amongst the aboriginal South americans, that could be taken as an insult. </font><br />]]></description>
