I have a question about ser and estar - should it be

Estaban muy deliciosos

Fueron muy deliciosos

seems like Ser is more for the quality of being delicious - but maybe delicious is more temporary?

mi tentenpie favorito es chile con queso, pero los chiles tiene que ser muy picante .... ¿es un tentenpie la misma cosa como un antojito?

no quiero fregar... pero no entiendo... y no conozco "saber" como "to taste" ... es posible decir "he knows it tastes very good" como "Él sabe que lo sabe muy bien" ?

liliana - no estoy seguro sobre algo tu has dicho... cerca de "el mismo valor a los seis idiomas..." suena como "no se espanten, es muy sencilla" - es correcto? "don't be afraid, it's very easy" ? si es correcto, por que "se" ? ¡gracias!

hola, soy un newbie aqui... tengo una pregunta sobre el uso del verbo "saber" - como "to taste" - ¿es conjugado come "saber" - "to know" ? ¿es la diferencía solamente en el contexto? por favor, ¿me puedan dar unos ejemplos? gracias ... y... ¡¡lo mas picante... lo mejor!!

thanks - one more question - using tu incorrectly could be seen as cheeky or forward- e.g. a young person talking to an elder. Is the opposite true? Using Usted with someone you've recently become with: could this be taken ( or intended) as an insult?

in the podcast it is said that this is fairly formal - mucho gusto, igualmente, etc. Then the speaker says "me puedes dar..." - not "me puede dar" .. if I ask the butcher at the carnicería for some beef would I say "¿Me puedes dar dos libras de carne?" - does it matter if he is younger?
