        <description><![CDATA[<p>Good point, <strong>rodneyp</strong>!&nbsp; I've had the same frustrating experiences trying to understand spoken Spanish.&nbsp; I guess I'm hoping that as my understanding of well-articulated Spanish improves, I'll be able to deal better with Spanish where people drop letters, slur syllables together, and speak very fast.&nbsp; I'll have enough cues to pick up what they're saying, just as I had no problem reading the passages in <strong>cobre's</strong> interesting posting.&nbsp; But, unlike <strong>hypersport</strong>, I still find the Advanced lessons a challenge.&nbsp; I guess I'd like to see them continue to use well-articulated Spanish but have the as-yet-nonexistent Advanced Media lessons cover what you and hypersport are suggesting.&nbsp; I agree that that would be useful even to people like me who aren't yet really comfortable with the Advanced lessons.&nbsp; Of course, with SpanishPod cutting back to 3 lessons a week, I guess the chances of that happening are zero to none. :-(</p>]]></description>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I have a question about the translation.&nbsp; At one point, Olivia says, "Octavio tiene a su novia visitando Londres."&nbsp; This is translated as "Octavio has a girlfriend visiting from London."&nbsp; Shouldn't it be "Octavio has a girlfriend visiting London"?&nbsp; If she were visiting FROM London, she'd be in the same town as the speakers, and no long-distance calls would be involved.&nbsp; Also, wouldn't the Spanish be something like "visitando <em>de</em> Londres" or "visitando <em>desde</em> Londres"?</p>]]></description>
