Soy vegetariano y estudiante del español. Cuando estaba en Perú, no tenía problemas comer. Bueno, yo estaba en Cusco, una ciudad muy turistico, pero en esta ciudad hay muchas restaurantes vegetarianos. Por ejemplo, comía casi cada dia en un restaurante en la calle Santa Catalina Ancha que se llama El Encuesto. Este restaurante es totalmente vegetariano. Asimismo, tiene un menú especial para el almuerzo. Si lo pedirías, ellos te traerían sopa, pan, ensalada, plato principio, postre y mate para beber. Es buenisimo. Cuesta solamente seis nuevos soles (alrededor US$2.75). Totalmente limpia y totalmente saboroso. Se lo recomiendo mucho.

Pero tengan cuidado. Hay un restaurante en el Cusco tambien vegetariano que se llama Govinda. La comida es buena pero el restaurante es operado por un grupo religioso, los "Hari Krishnas." Ellos tambien tienen un restaurante vegetariano en Aguas Calientes, el pueblo cerca de Machu Picchu. He cenado en los dos y no me pasó nada pero no creo que se deba confiar en este grupo. Busquenlo en wikipedia. Hay cuentas sobre ellos que me dan un poco miedo.

Resorts like the Edelweiss, Forest park hotel, the Habitat and Churchill pinewood valley all offer excellent facilities
