did you notice there are now 30 of us thats enough for a half decent party.

To this end i would like to propose that the weekend of the 27/28th of December we have a spanishpod  rolling xmas breakfast/lunch/dinner/party. Spanish to be spoken if you can but all abilities welcome.

you can stay all day or just pop in to say hello (and drop off some presents ) we can all compare what we are eating, discuss what santa has brought us and/or what we hope for from los reyos magos. we can wear paper hats, novelty socks and hideous jerseys wish each other happy holidays introduce our embarrassing relatives etc.

this gives us 10 weeks to get this chat thing working. practice our winter holidays vocabulary iron out any technical problems and swot up on the relevant rituals.

lets post our skype names and add each other to our contacts
it occurs to me that perhaps we could incude it in our profile Bio descriptions which would give us the option to remove it from the site whenever we wish. and yet show everyones address when you list the membership

 failing that perhaps we could have a rule that we message each other privately to get skype addresses. only problem with that is as the membership continues to grow it becomes a bind for new members to have to send many individual messages.
