Hi folks,
Yesterday was my last day at Studio Fiesta, and it was a good one. I have some thank yous and goodbyes to say, before my replacement is hired and everyone forgets about me...
First of all, thanks to all the listeners; you have made this site what it is. Your collaboration has both inspired me and supported me through my time at SpanishPod.
Esti, everyone on the team is funny, but you are the funny one. And gracias a Dios you always speak your mind. When people realize how hilarious you are all the time, they want to learn Spanish just to keep up with you. That's why I'm learning Euskera, anyway.... Thanks for keepin' it real... and I'll see you for lunch in about an hour!
Leo, one time I had to go to the bank; when I got back it was already 5pm, but even though you were starving you waited for me to open that bag of peanuts for Peanuts Time. That's the Leo I want to remember: loyal; considerate; hungry, but willing to share. Peanuts Time went from being a rescue snack to being the best part of the day.
Lili, your kindness and generosity to me inside the studio and out brings a charm to our lessons that I can't explain. I remember when they first threw us in the studio together, and we weren't even sure how to make a podcast. It was your support that got me through the winter blues. I was lucky to be your cohost, and truly blessed to have you as a friend.
You are goofballs, the three of you! And I mean that in a good way. Take care of yourselves, and take care of each other. It was awesome to be on the team with you all.

U just made me cry! Good thing u are not in front of me, cuz it would be so embarrassing. I will miss u so much, you will always have a special place in my little Mexican heart. I learned so much from you, sharing that mike made me know you better not only as a colleague, but as a true friend. I know this is not a goodbye, I will see u in Seattle, and u will take me to the Taco Bus!!!

Best of luck JP! I am a true newbie to Spanish and have been listening to the podcast for over a year. Currently, I'm studying several different language programs, and also, living in Houston, Texas doesn't hurt much either. There is a plethora of learning and real life practicing opportunities here. That said, I am soooooo grateful for the work you did with Spanishpod. You put it well in saying that you and Lili had a "charm" in your work. You guys are the best. I loved listening to both of you. It was like the both of you were my parents in Spanish language! It just feels natural to hear both of you teaching Spanish to me.
