Yes, I can see the problem with IE on Windows. I assume IE tries to jump to the label while the page is still loading. If the label is not loaded yet, IE will go to the top of the page. I'm not sure what can be done about it (apart from switching to another browser :). But you only need to press the "end"/"last pos" key to get to the end of the page; thus, I guess this isn't a big problem.

thanks for looking into this. I cant agree that its a minor problem especially with the longer threads. pressing end takes you way past where you want to be and you end up scrolling back up. granted its not life threatening but it doesnt need to be like this.  it wasnt like this last week. whatever they have changed i would like it changed back. :-)

for a while now, things have been behaving themselves in that clicking on a conversation link would always take me to the latest message but at some point today it has stopped again and i just get dumped at the first message. is this a problem my end or did you change something today and if so please could you change it back
