Threaded Comments on SpanishPod We've just introduced a number of style changes to the site, plus you'll notice your comments are now "threaded" . This feature makes it easier to both follow and contribute to a single conversation, so it's also easier to learn from all the questions and answers that are posted! · Replies only go one level deep, but the actual reply relationships are all preserved. This means that you can always find the exact comment a reply refers to (by clicking on the “in reply to” link), but without sometimes having to indent 10 times. (This also means that if we ever feel the need to go three levels deep or more, we have the data and structure to do it.) · Long reply threads will be hidden. You can easily reveal them with one click, but all those off-topic tangents will no longer obscure the lesson questions and answers you’re looking for. · All comment posting is now done with AJAX. This means the page will not reload when you post a comment (which is really annoying if you happen to be listening to the lesson while commenting). · The new commenting functionality works across lesson comments, users posts, groups posts, etc. Other changes to the websites include: · Sharing your lessons on Twitter, Facebook, and more. · Sample lessons, now you can listen to other level sample sentences. · Vocab features.

New lesson idea? Please let us know at spanishpod@praxislanguage.com.

Nice to see new features. I'm not too sure about the new font though! It doesn't look so great on Firefox on Mac OS. So, what are the vocab feature updates?
The vocab has a better shuffle system.
yay the ability to link to particular posts is back and the page is loading showing the most recent message so no more scrolling. jalleluja
i cant see this new threading technology at work. presumably it only applies to new posts in that you now have a choice of starting a new thread within the lesson discussion or you can rely to a specific comment by clicking on its reply link.
lets give it a try...

look, it was a typo ok
i wonder if there is a time limit on the edit function
i could go back and change it and make your post look foolish :-)
still no sign of the"in reply to link" perhaps I need to reply someone other than myself to see it in action. or perhaps just refresh the page
aha! now that ive refreshed the page i can see that it only shows the most recent reply .
hello catherinem, how did you get there????
in the words odf the na 'vi " i see you"
and indeed, the in reply to link. huzzah
:-)
is the markup script in the editor a bug or a feature do you think?
i see theres still a timelimit for editing which makes sense
and the markup in the editor lets you add links :-)
Hola. I've been away and haven't logged on to SP in a while. I haven't had a chance to look over most of the changes, but I'm disappointed in the font change. It looks really unfinished in both Firefox 3.6.2 and Opera 10. Some letters are darker, others lighter. Ugh!
